Beautiful and unique handmade leather bags are just part of the story. Each bag is carefully handcrafted by artisans from India looking for opportunities to up-skill and preserve generational craftsmanship. A fair trade for a fair wage, Soruka is creating opportunities for these economically disadvantaged people.

All Soruka bags are made from recycled leather that has been left over by factories. The quality of this leather is fantastic, but due to the small quantities it’s deemed ‘useless’ by the manufacturer.

Normally, this would be the end of the story and the leather would end up in landfill. However, Soruka meticulously combine each piece together to create these fantastic bags. Unique and unrepeatable, every individual leather bag has a different colour combination.
